I never did post a picture of the awesome new car that we got. Here it is!

Another Car Bites the Dust!

Brad was in a car accident coming home from work on Friday. He's okay but experiencing a lot of pain and soreness due to whiplash. We went to the hospital and got him checked out on Friday because he had a severe headache, but the CT scan showed that everything was normal. The doctor said the headache was most likely from the muscle spasms. He gave him pain medicine and muscle relaxers.

The accident happened at the intersection of Mid Rivers Mall Dr. and Cottleville Parkway. Brad was the first car at a red light to come to a stop and the lady behind him never saw the light change. She rear ended him without even breaking. Yikes!

Brad is just resting up today and watching the Olympics. I'm just so thankful that he didn't sustain more serious injuries. It looks like we're going to be car shopping soon. What do you think?

Sydney M. Wisdom

Sydney MacKenzie Wisdom, infant daughter of Ron and Stacy (Bailey) Wisdom, of Excelsior Spring, MO., Was born July 15, 2008, in North Kansas City, MO., and passed away Friday, July 18, 2008, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

She is survived by sister, Bailey; grandparents, Brace and Diana Bailey and Ron and Maureen Wisdom; and a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be held 10:30am Tuesday July 22, at the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs, 1650 Rainbow Blvd., Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Sydney Wisdom Is Here!!!

As of this morning, I am the proud Aunt of Sydney Wisdom! This is Ron & Stacy's 2nd little girl. Unfortunately, Sydney had some complications after birth. She is suffering from meconium aspiration, water on the brain, and has had at least one seizure. She has had trouble breathing on her own since she was born this morning and was put on oxygen but we received word this evening that her breathing is improving . All we can do now is say a lot of prayers and hope that the fluid on her brain goes down on its own in the next couple of days. So please, please, please say some prayers for Sydney! She is proving that she is quite a strong little girl and your prayers would help her continue to fight. Thanks!

Pomp and Circumstance

This past Wednesday Brad finished his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Baker College. He has been working extremely hard, and I'm very proud of him. He is graduating with an exceptional G.P.A. of 3.75! He is enjoying his new found "free time" by playing video games and hanging out with family and friends. Congratulations Brad!

Dave's Radical 80's Party

Saturday night we went to Dave's awesome 80's costume party. It was so much fun! There were a lot of great costumes there. Brad looked hilarious dressed as Flavor Flav. And I loved Stephanie's home made costume of a Rubik's Cube. We played Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s and played the best board game ever...Loaded Questions! We had a lot of laughs. I hope I'll have more pictures to post as other people send them to me, but for now check out these pictures.
